Jay started playing with his father's gospel group when he was 9 yrs. and has continued to play the bass ever since. Jay has toured all over the world with many artists such as Liz McComb to De La Soul, in various styles ranging from music from his roots in Gospel, Soul, Funk, to Rhythm and Blues, Jazz, and Pop. For over 50 years Jay has been the Groove maker behind the scenes many artists. For 10 yrs; Jay kept passing on his knowledge as he animated a Jam the encompass every style of music every week with his famous Jay Golden's Jam School in Paris, France. This album is a mixture of old school and new style Funk with Smooth Jazz add in. A slap of Hip-Hop! It's a Bass in your face musical experience! Jay is mixing the old gen with the new. This collection of tracks, is the result of Jay Golden's precise artistic direction, it boasts a rare richness with the talent of extraordinary musicians who, for the past decades, have made Paris their home base while continuing to electrify stages across Europe.
